Oh my gosh, I do not want to work out!

Changing Weigh In Days











Weigh in Days will now be Sundays as I cannot get to the scale in time to weigh in on Wednesdays or any weekday as my lovey works early in the morning and I am left with three girls to get ready and by then I already drank a ton of water, (my scale is at publix i do not own one or i'd be on it every day depressed so I use the same scale each week at publix. I know its on point because it is the same when i weighed in at weight watchers then went to publix to compare, I am no longer going to weight watchers by the way that was about a year ago , i went for a month or 2 and quit , it was not working for me . ) Ok so thats the update I will weigh in on Sundays from now on, Hopefully this will give me a chance to get my weight down since I gained last time. Ok tchau.

I gained weight.

Oh, poor me , what a sad day I'm back up to 217.5. blah blah blah, I know why it happened, I knew it was going to happen and allowed myself to continue to be a dummy. Ok I was menstrual , I had cravings and I gave in. Also it was a rough week , my kids have been home and my whole routine has been thrown off, my house is a wreck and I have tons more to do , more cooking , more laundry , and a lot less "me" time. So I'm going to clean my house, gather my thoughts replan my days and get in gear for the rest of this journey with my kids in tow. I only gained 1.5 pounds . It is probably only water weight and if I do great this week I can most likely blast it all away. Wish me Luck.. :) No, I don't need luck, wish me determination and gogettemnes. :)

Rest Week,First Day of School, New Nap Time

I'm coming out of p90x Rest Week #1 which was week 4 . The workouts were extra difficult for "rest week". I made it through with a few too many oreos, croissants, and chips than I'm happy to admit.

I have moved on and am now in week 5 of my trybrid. I weigh in tomorrow and see what damage I did last week. I think for my next rest week I'll just rest from p90x and keep going with my other workouts rather than give myself a pass to chill for the week. I tried core synergistics and never got through the whole workout I would do the first half one day and the other half the next.

Everything is getting back to normal now, I have changed the baby's naptime to morning after dropping the girls at school( she naps longer this way, and i can do my workouts instead of at 5 am).

Yesterday was the girls first day of school they were happy and super cute too. I am room mom for both classes. I can't wait for that, I will be posting some of our pics and crafts here  soon.

Friday!

Well, let's get caught up here..

Wednesday's Eating was a mess ! I brought all kinds of healthy snacks to keep me from eating junk.
I ate it all before I got out of town because it was my dinner,
 NOTE TO SELF:  Eat dinner then pack snacks for the road.
I was using my snacks for the road as dinner on a 4 hour drive and that just messed me up so I went on a convenience store binge. The next day driving back same thing and last night I was like..well screw it and bought a big unhealthy pizza and ice cream to top it off. So Wednesday and Thursday will be my high calorie days and I'll have plenty of time to get it back off. Thank God this was a rest week because I missed my workouts for 2 days as well, I feel like a total bum , lazy no energy . Tummy upset. I started today off right. I'm drinking my lemon water first thing in the morning and now I'm off to the world of Chalean and TurboFiyahh.
Just a quick update. The girls have their closet organized , their names are in their school clothes since they share a closet, if your name is not in it you don't wear it. We are going to school orientation for 2 hours today and a bday party tomorrow . I will bring healthy food to the party to save myself the guilt for later. Now off to my workout , breakfast for the girlies, and more shopping today, we need LUNCHBOXES :)

I'm making the kids lunches for them. NO more school lunches and the mess they feed my girls.

Can't wait to weigh in and ohh, I took my measurements on Wednesday, I have lost 4 inches all over my body, I know its not like 20 or 100 but hell its a start.

Weight Loss Glasses!

These are buttons my mom has been collecting over the years, she always kept them in a small woven basket. Now I have found a great use for them. I have placed them in a champagne glass 85 of them to be exact. When I lose a pound I will move one button symbolizing that pound into the other glass when I have emptied all of the buttons into the "pounds lost" glass I will have something great to celebrate. I can use these glasses to drink some champagne and it will be so worth it. Then I'll take the buttons and do crafts with them or make greeting cards etc. I will have the glasses etched with something cute..for now here's my progress

Plan for today..

Today is an exciting day in that I'm going to pick up my two oldest daughters from their father's home in Jacksonville. I have made breakfast for myself and the little one. I had two boiled eggs with hummus inside, 4 almonds and some oatmeal, with cinnamon, honey, a thinly sliced banana , strawberry and blueberries . Yum! 









I packed our snacks for the road so I don't sabotage myself at a dunkin donuts or mcdonalds. 




216-happy or sad?

Wellll, I weighed in this morning. 216 So I didnt lose any great number just one pound. What can I attribute that to? Oh yeah, brownies, outback steakhouse burger, brazillian fried chicken and cheese balls, umm whole cartons of "healthy so I can eat it all" greek frozen yogurt. from ben and jerry's no less.

Ok , so I know why I didnt lose as much as I wanted. I have a weakness for eating outside of my own home. And also I trusted myself with kashi chocolate bars, and greek ice cream in the house. This week there will be NONE of that. I know a pound a week is magical for some but I am just not feeling it especially when I know I didn't give it all I've got.


As much as I was hoping to attribute it to muscle growth on "rest week" we know the real deal. Just thank God I didn't gain.

Can't do a pullup?

I found  a great resource on getting strong enough to do a pullup, I'm gonna start doing this instead of skipping the whole pull up part on p90x , Yayy

P90x Rest Week

This is killing me, I want to lift! I miss my program! I went searching online to see if p90x Rest Week is necessary or beneficial. Apparently it is, to let your muscles fully recover and grow from the hard work you've been putting them thru , but OMG I really miss it. Whooda thunk I'd miss lifting weights. I am doing turbofire 30 today and core synergistics. Eating well today and praying I lost some weight for when I weigh in tomorrow..

Tomorrow night I drive up to pick up my girls. I'm pretty excited to see them and bring them home! Its been a long summer. Now I gotta go clean my house so its wayy pretty for my little ladies .

I just finished doing TurboFire HIIT 25 . I was going to start this post off with " I still can't do a real jumping jack or a real pull up "

Guess what, I can do a real burpee, I did do real jumping jacks I just have to push harder than is comfortable. Wow I am really feeling accomplished. Oh, and i'm soaked in sweat I can even see my stomach sweating !

I bought myself some new adidas  workout shorts! 2 pairs , i paid 6  bucks and i bought a hot skirt too! total 11 dollars , yayyyy.

Ok, Its Monday People!!


Its Monday and I am getting back on track after the weekend.I'm on rest  week from p90x. That means I'm on week 4! I have kept this up for 3 whole weeks!!! I'm kind of surprised I have kept it up this long and I'm really happy about it! I totally can't wait to weigh in , and I can't wait til september to take more progress pics!! I'll keep up on my turbofire and BBL, but on p90x days I'll do core synergistics.

Side Note:

So once again I managed to eat junk over the weekend. I normally do lose weight if I get back on track Monday and Tuesday. I feel like I should be able to stay on track over the weekend since it is 43% of the week if you really think about it . So how much more fit could I get if I stayed on track over the weekend. I do plan carb up days and higher calorie days but I kind of went over board and yesterday was not a day I planned on ..I had coixinhas at the brazililan market. Then my bestie's Mom was in town , so we went to outback steakhouse where I had a salad with ranch, some bloomin onion slices, half a aged cheddar burger and a ton of brownie with ice cream. I want to punch myself in the face...lol. but I won't .
So maybe I didnt lose much weight but still I need to see where I'm at! I checked my weight last  night I was at 218 so up one pound..but it was night time after eating all day sooo Wednesday here I come, TurboFire lets go!

Learning My Weaknesses

I went to my friend's casa to watch the game. Wowww Mexico played extremely well, I did not expect them to terrorize Brasil so badly. I did not recognize the players..they were not the FIFA Team. They were the Olympic Team. Ohhhh now I get it. The HULK did score one Goal for Brasil in the last few minutes of the game, Lots of suspense I loved it! Mexico won fair and square, it did make me kind of sad but hey whatevs we'll win the cup when it comes time.

What I am learning about me...I am having the hardest time ever eating at anyone's home but my own. I have all my weapons of fat destruction, greek frozen yogurt , and kashi mocha bars, and strawberries, and when I go to other peoples house. They don't have any clean foods, all oreos and chocolates and doritos and fruit punch, sodas, etcera, I know its all bad but I go and make a plate for myself and say ohh I'll just have a little. I mean it is my carb and calorie up day but I just feel super guilty after. Soooo, NO more Eating at a friends house until I have a way to control myself. I mean my hunger or cravings or weakness whateer you call it. I'm still under my cal goal for the day, I can help my protein count by having some protein drink a little later. Now all I can do is stay on track for the next few days, and hope when I weigh in it all pays off ;)

Happy Saturday, my lovey is off to work. I'm going to have breakfast tidy up the house, and get ready. Mexico vs Brasil today in soccer so I hope I get to see it~ if not, GOOO BRASILLL.

Today Is Weigh In Day

Today , I check my weight loss progress. I am having a bit of anxiety about it because this weekend I went a little nuts on fried foods..(bad girl). I have vowed to not to it again but while I was at my bestie's house eating  all of that mess. I checked my weight... up 3 pounds to 223. Granted It was after eating and drinking (not alcohol) all day. I have had 2 days to get back to normal.

I read this and saw the pic I thought wow, that is me . I am sad that I hurt my body and just jammed it with junk and bad things. I know I need to forgive myself and fix my mistakes now.

Sooo, lets see where we're at. I drive to publix and weigh on that scale once a week.

 As of today I officially weigh:217! 

Whoo hoo! I lost 3 pounds this week!
220 Is gone, I will do everything I can to never gain that back!

Today I Was Not Motivated ..

I had a late night with my Lovey and his cousin. They were enjoying some adult beverages whilst I drank water, after water. It was hard since his cousin and I have always been drinking  buddies.

I woke up this morning, not feeling like exercising. Especially since today would be day two of adding turbofire in..

I knew i had to do it or i would definitely experience some self loathing today..So I googled workout motivation..I came up with this link: 31 Ways to Motivate Yourself To Exercise

I read about ten, and started my workout
I am so happy I did and after TurboFire 30 I did BBL Tummy Tuck and High & Tight
My bumbum is still a little sore from Legs and Back p90x yesterday but I kept pushing, I got really hungry though so I paused the last 20 minutes of High and Tight and had my breakfast, When my baby takes her nap I will complete the last 20 minutes,**EDIT: Last 20 Done!

Today was a six or seven on a scale of one to ten, My car got a tune up, I did My dads GF Pedicure, I had a good bfast and lunch, my lovin is making dinner for us, we're gonna watch some biggest loser later, (netflix). I'm a super addict i watch one or two episodes per day. lol

Brazil Butt Lift/P90x everyday for 2 weeks.

I Do only two of Leandros Workouts, I do those Two 3 x Per Week. Tues, Thurs, and Saturdays.
On Monday, Wednesday, And Friday I do P90x, these are the strength Training days,
Sundays I do a generic yoga I found on Netflix
I had originally planned on Doing TurboFire everyday for 15 minutes to one hour But I have not started that yet.
Not going to make excuses But I'll maybe try soon, For cardio I am walking more now.
Soon I will start this walking program I found online..here Just a quick update of my hybrid which will soon turn trybrid..

It's Saturday!

Car is in the shop getting the works done until Monday. Breno & I decided we will take a walk with the baby at the Nature Preserve across the street. We've never been there yet even though we lived in the same spot for nearly 4 years. My oldest 2 daughters are still not home from their dads house yet so we're gonna try to keep busy until they get back.

I find myself really excited to weigh in , I just cant wait to see where I'm at & get my reward too! I've lost weight a couple times before, but this makes it fun. I like blogging and editing and taking pics. Hopefully I can be someones fitspiration one day..

Goals/Rewards Plan

My goal is to be as healthy, fit and strong as I can get.  In order to do that, I don't think I should set limits on how fast to get there, ( I'm not sure if this is the right thinking since the only difference between a goal and a dream is a deadline). I don't even honestly know how much I want to weigh. I saw picture of me when I was around 16 , I was about 155 and I looked pretty darn small compared to me now, but I still had big legs, bigger than all the girls with boyfriends. I had to squeeze my thighs into size 12 Jeans. I wasnt happy with that. Even now I don't want to wear a 12 I want to be in a single digit. But how do I know what is the right size for me. So what I will be using as a measure  is body fat along with the scale. I'd say once every 3-4  Months I will check my BF% Because It can get expensive.  Weekly I will weigh in just to make sure I am on track with my eating and workouts , and see if I can tweak anything to help me along. I will get biweekly rewards for staying on track.

August!

Updates:
Have been officially eating clean for one month now, lost nearly 9 pounds in 2 weeks, I have been getting a lot of recipes from  this website, they are amazing! I have learned how to make virtually carb free mashed potatoes (actually mashed cauliflower with a bit of plain greek yogurt, salt and seasonings. It really satisfies my carb tooth.

My daughters are still visiting their dads house for the summer, I cant wait til they come back home, we are going to be a much more active family.
Which leads my in to my goals and changes I'd like to make for my life.

1- I want to be an active mom, no more sitting on the couch saying its too hot outside. I'm going!
We will ride bikes, play tag, and be outside more. (bonus: it helps keep the house clean! )
2- I have recently learned about how terrible the school lunches are, No More School Lunches, I will be packing my girls lunch every day.
3- We will start taking at least monthly vacations as a family. We will start off with at least one date night a month for mommy and daddy too.
4- I am going to set up a goals/rewards chart so i have something to look forward to and the rewards get better as i get closer to my ultimate goal.
